'CalmSettlement' started with a vision: to serve real Neapolitan pizza in Los Angeles. Established by the Romano family in 1985, our little pizzeria began as a quaint, family-owned spot boasting recipes passed down for generations.

The foundations of 'CalmSettlement' were laid by Marco Romano, who honed the craft of classic pizza-making while exploring Italy, absorbing wisdom from skilled pizzaiolos in Naples – the pizza's birthplace. Returning to the UK, their goal was to recreate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to traditional techniques and sourcing the highest caliber of ingredients.

Our roots trace back to a humble 12-seat establishment, yet we have evolved into a cherished local eatery, maintaining our dedication to excellence and accuracy. We continue to deploy age-old wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and select premium ingredients.

Now, 'CalmSettlement' is still in the care of the Romano family, moved forward by the second generation, leading a devoted crew. Although we've adopted some contemporary innovations, the core of our enterprise remains intact: producing delectable, genuine pizza that unites our patrons.
